Conference!
I had the opportunity to attend the REAL CONFERENCE!!! I went to the Sunday morning session and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. If just walking around and looking at all the smiling faces wasn't enough.... When Pres Mon walked into the room I just felt this overwhelming feeling of peace and happiness. Love just radiates from him. The room was dead silent and I couldn't stop smiling. As usual, it was all thanks to Cyd and her connections. Wow. Its going to be really hard to leave. She's become one of the bests and helped me learn so much about myself. She is such a great example and I feel as if I am not done learning yet. But... take the good with you. And this semester there has certainly been a LOT of good. So I'll enjoy these last three weeks and await what is ahead!

Cyd's House.
This past weekend I went up to Orem with Cyd so that she could go to a friends wedding. The next day she took me up into the mountains and it was so BEAUTIFUL! I thought the mountains we have here in Ephraim were amazing but dang, they got NOTHIN on Orem's peaks. Its hard to hold a normal conversation because everywhere you go the view is just breathtaking. We took a bunch of pictures and stopped for a picnic by the lake listening to some Beatles music. It was nice to meet all her friends, they are all very nice people. All in all it was a great weekend. I find I keep falling more and more in love with Utah. Its going to be really really hard to leave. I don't know if I ever will.

Valentines Day!
My mommy sent me a cute little package with candy and even some stuff for my roommates! She got me these sweet glasses. Mmm. Love her. It was adorable and made me really really happy! Things are going good here, I am learning a lot and loving the snow! Utah is so funny because it tricks you. The snow melts and so you put on your teva's and shorts and then you wake up to a blizzard! Its crazy!

Apartment J.
This past sunday we had a superbowl party! A few people from our floor came over and we gorged ourselves on 7-layer dip and potato salad. It was marvelous. But... Royce happened to be sick and seems to have spread his wealth with everyone in attendance. I guess you could now call "Apt J" the house of the leopars. Both me and Cyd have come down with the flu. Its been dark rooms, romantic movies, 7up, and naps with our edward blankets for the past two days. It bothers me to be so unproductive, I even missed some classes. But I have to admit its been nice to stay home with my girl and try to re-coop. We've been like the blind leading the blind. Its quite funny to have two sick people trying to take care of each other. I also locked my keys in the car and still haven't been able to get them out. Sometimes you just have to laugh. Life is just so funnnnny. One thing after another!

Giving Thanks.
I had a very untraditional Thanksgiving this year. I had to work the day before and after Thanksgiving and could not afford to fly home for just ONE day. It would have been nice to be home but I'm actually really glad that I stayed. I became the "plus 1" at the Francois Thanksgiving dinner up north. I've never met a family filled with more love and humor! It was really nice to also meet Jackie's little niece and nephew. They were adorable! It made me wish that I had older siblings so I could bug them to have a few babes. But, as the oldest, I guess I just better hurry up, get married, and pop a few out myself!
Well, Jackie just decided that she is going back home to Chandler next semester and I am remaining here in Ephraim. I just paid the rent on an apartment for this next semester at Snow College. Its really really scary. Sometimes I think its too scary! I will have to change wards because I'm moving out of my boundaries. I really didn't want to leave because I LOVE my calling as a teacher in the Relief Society but... things happen for a reason. And there is always something to learn right? Well thats what I keep telling myself. This will be a good experience but very bitter sweet. I will miss having my best friend with me all the time. I have learned soooo much from Jackie in my time here in Manti. I am so thankful to have been blessed with such great friendships in my life. But its time to move on. I am just enjoying hanging out with her and the Manti locals for this last week and then... its home for the holidays and goodbye all over again. I'll miss you girrrrrrl!
Whew. Time flies tooooo fast. Friends leave. Missionaries depart. People get married. Have kids. It is so weird to see all of this happening to people my age but... As Blink 182 said, "I guess this is growing up."
I love you all and look forward to coming home for Christmas!!!!!

Mrs. Mitchell
The school unfortunately forgot to inform me that I was to be included in picture day. So, just my luck, it was on the day I woke up extremely late and wore a T-shirt. When I got the pictures today it just brought a smile to my face because I really feel like I'm a part of Manti Elementary. I LOVE IT! Next to my name it says "Faculty." I love that! I am going to be in the yearbook haha. Yay! Well. Me and Jaclyn just got back from institute and I can't express how excited I always am to go to class. I am learning SOOOOO much about the gospel and how to better myself and I love it! I love constantly trying to make things better in my life and improve. Im so grateful for the ability we have to progress. Lately I have been feeling quite lonely. I love the people here. But I miss my missionary friends. There are lots of great people here and I love to get to know people but I still miss my T-Haws and Caldy babe. They are sincerely missed. I am so very proud of them both. But, I hope these two years go by fast so I can have my friends back.
