China.

I recently got accepted into a program called the International Language Program. We are given a classroom of about 10 children and teach English to them four days a week. I will be leaving for Weihai China this next August! Ever since graduating from college I have moved schools/locations almost every semester. There was always some different reason to be where I was at that moment. I am what you would call... a "free spirit."

Recently I have become more devoted to my studies and to finishing school. I really would like to get my degree so that I can start teaching and making a life for myself. I struggled with this decision to go to China because I figured that I was being "irresponsible." But I had to take a look at myself and what I really want in life. The things that are important to me and the reasons why I am doing this. I decided that life is short. Although school is very important to me..... I feel that in this life you need to take risks and adventures. And so that is what Im doing. Im going on an adventure. My first payment was this month. It now feels all so real. I bought a basic mandarin chinese instruction kit and I play the CD's in the car every day on my way to work. I can't wait to meet all of the children I will be teaching!!!
