KAJUKENBO.

When I was in elementary school I used to do a form of Karate called "Kajukenbo." I was apart of the Sei Ryu Kan dojo meaning "the path of peaceful strength." I recently discovered that my old Sensei is still here in TUCSON!!!! I miss that part of my life so much and have decided to start up again! I am so excited! Man it sure feels good to wear a gis again!

Phew. I went in for my 2nd interview at Border's Bookstore on Saturday. I was soooooo nervous. But... out of a billion applicants, I GOT THE JOB! I am so excited and I start tomorrow! I dropped by the Pita Pit to tell them I would not be returning. I felt really bad. But I am so excited to start sleeping again! I already feel so much better. I get a 30% discount on everything at the store and I get to talk to people all day! Im so stoked! 

P.S. I have been REALLY good about saving my money. So... if I make it through this year without buying any photo lenses and such... I am totally buying Trivial Pursuit; The Beatles. It would be so much fun! Borders is the best!

No Sleep.

I am the Pita Pit's newest employee. I work every night from 7pm-4am. Then I walk home and after minimal hours of sleep... get up for school at 9am. Its been hard but... you gotta do what you gotta do. I am hoping that I will find another job soon because its starting to wear on me a bit. But... on the positive side, you know when its really early in the morning and you say silly things? Well... I am like that all the time!!!! Its basically just constant entertainment for my roommate and the many on lookers.  

A New Home.

I am now living in Tucson Arizona with my most dearest friend Vanessa. We are in the most adorable little apartments just outside of campus. I just love the atmosphere and everything about the place! We are very very poor and splitting the rent on a studio apartment. I have now been here for a week and I am just loving it. I grew up here and its just so nice to be coming back to my "roots." I love it here. The weather is really nice and its really nice to have Ness here to share it with. I am searching for a job and hopefully will find one soon or I might not have groceries!!!!! I love and miss you all. 

Not Quite Home.

Well... I've been back home in Arizona for exactly three weeks now. At first it was very weird being back. But I started going to work the day after I got home and it has been busy-busy-busy since then. I forgot how much I missed working at the pool. I like having a job that I look forward to going to every day! I'm wayyyyy stoked for swimming lessons to start! And I love that as soon as I get off work there is ALWAYS something going on. But even though its nice to be back with friends and family.... I don't quite feel "home." Even though I was only in Utah for a year... it really did become home to me. I miss it, and the people I met, a lot sometimes. Its just hard to think... "Wow, I might never see any of those people again." But. I know everything will be okay. I just wish they would stop playing Hannah Montana's "The Climb" on the radio! Haha. I just have to shake my head and remind myself.... you meet people for a reason. Take the memories and the lessons with you and move on.
